Burial was in Pinecrest Cemetery, Troup.
Mrs, Gentry died June 18, 2002 near Troup.
She was born Sept. 27, 1923 in Wynnewood, Okla., to the late William Lynn and Hattie Belle Church Lowe.
She lived in the Troup area since 1948.
Mrs. Gentry was a housewife and member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Johnnie Lee Gentry on Dec. 21, 2000; grandson, Jerry Gentry; sister Elsie Gentry; and brother, Edward Lowe. Survivors include a son; two daughters; a brother; and a sister.
Mrs. Gentry is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bryan Ham, Jeff Gentry, Shawn Martin, Donald Martin, Rocky Craig and David Agnew.
