Phyllis Akins - age 64 of Lenoir City passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was a member of Covenant Ministry Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Buster Hicks; parents, Amos and Pearl Cole; brothers and sisters, Floyd Cole, Calvin Cole, Bobby Cole, Elizabeth Horne, Betty Young and Kenneth Cole.


Survived by her children, Buster Wayne Hicks, Billy Joe Hicks, Bobby Hicks and wife, Kristina and Darla Hicks; grandchildren: Rebecca Hicks, Alfred and Richard Hellard, Brandon and Aleya Hicks; great grandson, Preston Hellard; sisters, Pauline Johnson and Brenda Davis; brother, Eddie Cole; many nieces and nephews, including nephew, Franklin Spears and great niece, Dolly Myers.


The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Junior Young officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 9:30 Wednesday morning and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 10 a.m. graveside services. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
