Georgia V. Crawford, age 98, of Forward Twp., died Sunday afternoon, December 16, 2012 at LAS St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.
Born in McDonald, PA, on October 2, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Gabriel and Augusta Ashworth Lawson. She was raised in Rochester, PA.
A homemaker, Mrs. Crawford was a member of the Mars United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Judy Burke of Warrenton, VA.; a son, Timothy C. Crawford and his wife, Ruth of Mars; a daughter-in-law, Barbara K. Crawford of Mars; her grandson, Mark Thomas Crawford and his wife, Janene of Mentor, Ohio and two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Spencer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas C. Crawford, who died in 1973; a son, Ernest T. Crawford, who died on October 18, 2012, and by her siblings, Ernest, Ethel, Beulah, Florence, Edith and Grace.
Friends will be received in the MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, PA on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be in the Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars, PA on Wednesday at 11 a.m., the Rev.
