Linda Leedom Teeters, 49, of 3 Warm Springs Acres, Huntingdon, died at 6:15 a.m. today, Nov. 11, 1988, at her home. She had been in failing health for the past two years.

She was born Aug. 12, 1939, at Lewistown, the daughter of Robert B. and Phyllis (Harris) Leedom. On Sept. 22, 1962, she was united in marriage to James E. Teeters Jr. at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Huntingdon.

Her parents of Cold Springs Road, Huntingdon, survive, as well as her husband and two sons, Scott Robert and Rodney James, both at home. A brother preceded her in death.

Mrs. Teeters was a charter member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Huntingdon. She was educated in the public schools of Huntingdon and graduated from Huntingdon High School in 1957. She was a 1959 graduate of the Altoona School of Commerce after which she was employed by Valley Rural Electric Cooperative. She then worked as a secretary in the office of Dr. Charles Reiners and Dr. Thomas Mainzer, and for the past 11 years, has served as secretary at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Huntingdon, the Rev. Jack S. Palmer officiating. Interment will be made in the Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call at the John B. Brown Funeral Home, Huntingdon, Saturday after 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 to 11 a.m. Friends may then call at the church Sunday from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.
