Florence Ann Hale Bevan, 77 VISTA -- Florence Ann Hale Bevan, a resident of Claremont and Vista, died Thursday, October 21, 2010. She was born November 3, 1932, in Claremont, Calif. She graduated from Claremont HS in 1950 and attended Whittier College. Flo and Bud were married on Valentine's Day, 1952. They lived for many years in Claremont. Flo was a nurse for her father's opthalmology practice until his retirement when she became a real estate agent/broker as her second career, serving Claremont and surrounding areas of California. The entire Bevan family enjoyed camping out at Salton Sea near Palm Springs. Flo was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. After Sandy's death, Bud and Flo moved to Vista, Calif., where they began working on their dream home. She is survived by her grandchildren, Scott Bevan of Lake Elsinore, Calif., Sherry Huff (husband Ron) of La Quinta, Calif., Adrian Bevan (daughter-in-law, Maria Bevan) of Anaheim, Calif., and Adam Bevan of Santa Ana, Calif.; brother, Charles N. Hale of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Elizabeth Warm of Michigan; niece, Linda Franklin of La Mirada, Calif.; nephews, Tom Hale of Eureka, Calif., and Jeffrey Hale and wife, Beth of Littleton, Colo.; niece, Lisa Reeves of Plano, Texas; nephew, William Hale of Michigan; niece, Heather Warm of San Francisco; and Brenda Bevan, (daughter- in-law), of San Bernadino. Florence "Flo" was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Morgan "Bud" Bevan; parents, Channing W. Hale, M.D. and Ruth Alter Hale; daughter, Sandra; sons, Dennis, Raymond, and Robert.
