DEATH
Andrew Ryder, well known farmer of Lower Strait Creek, died on the morning of the 28th, aged, approximately, 60. Mr. Ryder had been in ill health for some time and a few weeks ago went to the University hospital to consult a specialist. It is understood that his trouble was found to be of a serious cancerous nature, and no relief could be afforded him. After a stay of two or three weeks there, he was able to make the trip home, which was done last week. He was a son of the late Jacob Ryder and member of a large family. Of his immediate family he is survived by his wife and several children.
