Mrs. Norma Talmadge Hallman Ritch Wilson, 88 of Blackshear, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 16, 2012, at the Pierce County Nursing Home.
Born in Blackshear, GA on January 10, 1924, she had lived in Pierce County all of her life. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and had attended Patterson Baptist Church and Patterson Methodist Church throughout the years. She was a former mayor of Patterson and had also served on the Patterson City Council. Mrs. Wilson was an avid fisherman.
Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the late David & Maude Florie Hallman. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Joseph "Jimmy" Ritch; her second husband, Joe Wilson; two sons, David Owen Ritch and Billy Ritch; a granddaughter, Julie Ritch; and a sister, Nona Cribb.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce & Linda Ritch of Cartersville, GA; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Ritch of Mershon; sister, Earnestine Davis of Patterson; 4 grandchildren, Ben Ritch, Mike Ritch, Joe Ritch and Christina Welch; 12 great grandchildren, Harris Ritch, Will Ritch, James Michael Ritch, Landon Ritch, Ethan Ritch, Jacqueline Ritch, William Ritch, Christian Ritch, Adreana Ritch, Julian Ritch, Harrison Welch and Broderick Ritch, and several nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Service:
The family will have a memorial service at a later time.
Cemetery:
Memorialization is by cremation.
