Somebody attached Martha Knox Harper to the wrong parents on Find-A-Grave (as they did with all the "children" of Elizabeth Gaston that married John Knox Jr of SOUTH CAROLINA).

Martha Knox married Benjamin Harper and they emigrated to, and lived in SOUTH CAROLINA. She does not belong "attached" to the Mecklenburg County, NORTH CAROLINA Knox-line. John Knox of Mecklenburg NC names ALL of his children in his will and Martha is not one of them... so "researchers" then change her name and make her Martha "Mary" Knox so it "fits". She was not Martha Mary Knox (just Martha Knox). She was never in North Carolina and she is NOT part of the NC Knox-line.

Elizabeth Gaston (of Chester, SC) was married to a different John Knox Jr and they lived in a different state than the Mecklenburg NC Knox-line.

People find the emigration records of the SC Knox-line and attach those records to the NC Knox-line. This is wrong and completely destroys these lines.

Please detach her from the wrong parents so her lineage can be accurately reflected.
