Carl W. Vincent, 65, Defiance, Ohio, died Monday, December 13, 2010, at his residence.
He was born April 30, 1945, in Bryan, the son of Charles and Ruth (Phillips) Vincent. On December 13, 1985, he married Sheila McGuire, who survives. He was a garage mechanic at GM Powertrain for 30 years, retiring in 1995. He was also a member of the Second Baptist Church and UAW Local 211.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, John (Denise) Pannell of Defiance and Chad (Tina) Vincent, Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Kim (Rob) Cupp of Defiance and Tricia Campbell, Huntington, Ind.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Gary Vincent, Bryan, Ohio; and a sister, Phyliss (Dewayne) Jolly, Stryker, Ohio.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two grandsons, Nathan Pannell and Craig Campbell; two brothers, Bob and Norman Vincent; and a sister, Elaine Ross.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2010, at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Services for Carl W. Vincent were held Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, Defiance, with Rev. Max Begley officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thurman Ratliff, Justin Sampson, Nick Pannell, Josh Yoder, Arvell McGuire Jr. and Joe Wagner.
