Funeral Held Tuesday For Mrs. Ed Holtrop
Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed church here at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 for Mrs. Edward Holtrop, 68, of Sioux Center, who died suddenly and unexpectedly June 27 at Edgerton Minn.
Services were conducted by the Rev. Peter Brower and burial was made in Middleburg cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Holtrop, nee Marie Baartman, was born at Orange City April 20, 1901. She was married to Ed Holtrop Ocotber 17, 1920, at Doon.
Survivors include the widower and a daughter, Mrs. Bert Regnerus of Sioux Center; a son, Bert, of Chino Calif.; two brothers, Pleun of Ruthton Minn., and Peter of Long Beach Calif.; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
