in marriage to Verna Rorer of Shirleysburgs R.D. at Cumberland, Md. The Hilemans made their first home at Shirleysburg, R. D where he worked as a farmer. They moved to Mount Union two years ago where Mr. Hileman worked for 17 years as an inspector of the Harbison-Walker Refractories Company.
He attended the EUB Church of Hill Valley. He was a member of the Shirleysburg Lions Club.In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs
Ella Hileman of Mount Union and three children Jerry Hileman of Atlanta, Ga., and Garry and Janet Hileman, at home One grandson,Douglas .M. Hileman, also. survives along with these 13 brothers and sisters Edward Hileman, Huntingdon Carl Hileman, New Castle, Doyle Hileman and, Mrs Henry Stimmel, Connellsville; Walter Hileman, Baltimore; Robert Hileman,Mrs. Naomi Bard, Mrs. Sheldon Bard, Mrs. Russell Long and Miss Della Hileman, all of Mount Union; Mrs. Robert Smith, Gettysburg; Mrs. Arthur Appleby, Altoona and Mrs. Minnie Peterson, Orbisonia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Clark funeral home in Mount Union, The Rev.Charles Rhodes will officiate and interment will be made in the Mount Union I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after noon on Friday.
