Bobbie E. Robertson, 87, of Kilgore, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in Longview, Texas, following a brief illness.

Bobbie was born on October 22, 1924, in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Alvin Wells and Dolly Mae Dorothy Timms.

She met and married the love of her life, William Elvis Robertson, and they shared 54 wonderful and memorable years together. Bobbie was a housewife and "worked" as a caregiver of children. She lovingly cared for and enjoyed many of the community's children helping to form their future endeavors . She was a faithful member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed volunteering at the East Texas Treatment Center, was a past member of the Altar Society for her church and spending time with her family, and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda Kay McCarty; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Louise Arthur; numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends. As well as the many "children" whose lives she touched.

Mrs. Robertson is preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Jack Wells and son, William David Robertson.
