Deloris G. Ligon, 75, of Monett, died April 7 at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett.

Mrs. Ligon was born October 6, 1930, in Monett, the daughter of William C. and Laura Mae Henson Scroggins. She was a retired licensed practical nurse, a homemaker, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Monett.

She married Robert V. Ligon on May 14, 1961, and he preceded her in death July 4, 1984.

Survivors include one daughter, Gwen Miller and her husband, Rick, of Monett; one brother, William Scroggins of Louisiana, Missouri; two sisters, Marjorie Blocker of St. Louis and Juanita Hyden of Monett; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Crivelli, in 1947; and one sister, Rosa Edwards.

Graveside services were 1 p.m. today, April 10, at Purdy Cemetery with Dr. Bill Cox officiating under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett.
