He was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Slatington.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington.
Survivors: Sons, John S., with whom he resided, David L. of Coplay and Michael P. of Northampton; and a daughter, Carol, wife of John Mankos; brother, Wallace, and a sister, Lois, wife of George Dilliard, all of Slatington, and six grandchildren.
