Mary E. Jenkins, 78, of Washburn died at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 1997 at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon.
Born March 27, 1919 in Toluca to Jerimiah and Clara Peters Breen, she married Ora Q. Jenkins on Sept. 11, 1936 in Metamora. He died May 30, 1997. Seven brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Judy Brentley and one sister, Viola Enright.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Washburn and its Altar and Rosary Society.
