PATRICIA J. MAHON, 78, of Newark, Ohio died Dec. 10, 2012, in Newark. Mrs. Mahon was born September 6, 1934, in Cleveland, to the late Glenn and Viola (Gooderl) Heritage. She was a graduate of Cleveland Metropolitan School of Nursing. She and her husband served the mission field of South Africa for eight years. They returned to the Cleveland area for about 15 years before moving to Newark, Ohio where Mrs. Mahon worked for many years Licking Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her children, Debora (Robert) Baker of Elyria, Michael (Nancy) Mahon of Pucallpa, Peru, Peter (Lexie) Mahon of Douglasville, Georgia, Becky Mahon of Newark; four grandchildren; a brother, Wayne (Prudy) Mahon of North Olmstead, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Joseph H. Mahon in 2006. A memorial service will be held in January 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church in Newark. Inurnment will take place at Highland Park Cemetery in Cleveland.
