MRS. O.S. MEDLEY, A RESIDENT OF CAIRO, DIES
Mrs. O.S. Medley, 88, former Moberly and Cairo resident, died at 4:45 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a son, Carl Medley of Columbia. She and her husband had been living there the past two months because of her ill health.
Mrs. Medley was born in St. Charles County and came to Moberly 60 years ago, living here a short time before going to Cairo. The couple were married 68 years ago June 15. She was a member of Felps Presbyterian Church.
Besides her husband and son in Columbia, she is survived by three other sons, Harry Medley, Concord, Calif., Clyde Medley, Seattle, and Earl Medley, Spokane; two daughters, Mrs. Sam Taylor, Leesburg, and Mrs. Gilbert Creed, Detroit; and 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. The body is in the Snow Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
