Demus was married first to Catherine Pysell, who died of pneumonia in 1880, 1 year after the birth of my grandfather, Lloyd Joseph Spiker in 1879. He remarried Molly Skyles in 1881 and they moved to Connelsville PA (Fayette Co.) where he was the sexton of the local cemetery until his death in 1916.
