She was born on January 4, 1935 in Albany, KY, and was a resident of Muncie most of her life. She was a homemaker, and attended Wilmore United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening and knitting.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy; two brothers, Bobby and Johnnie; and several nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all of her friends and neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Perry Clark, whom she was married to for 46 years, who passed away almost a year ago to the day of his loving wife. She is also preceded in death by her mother and father, Miller Clarence and Ada Jane (Stewart) Guffey; four sisters, Alene Clark, Audrey Guffey, Victoria Marlow, and Mary Guffey; and one brother, Jesse Guffey.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park.
