Emanuel W. Little, 77, husband of Mrs. Cora Sipling Little, 600 E. Middle St., Hanover, died Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. at his home after a year's illness.
A son of the late William L. and Sarah Wise Little, he had been employed as a messenger by the Revonah Spinning Mills, Inc for 10 years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was affiliated with Hanover Lodge 227, LOOM.
Surviving in addition to his wife are; four children, Herbert Little, Mrs. Raymond T. Cooney and Richard E. Little, all of Hanover and Mrs. Robert Groft, McSherrystown; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Grace Sipe, York; Mrs. Francis Gobrecht and Mrs. Truman Heck, Hanover and Mrs. Dorthy Leister and Betty Becker; 13 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Edith Gemmil, York and Mrs. Georgianna Hark, Philadelphia.
Funeral services Saturday at 8:30 a.m. with prayers at the William A. Feiser Funeral Home, Hanover, followed by a Requiem Mass at 9 o'clock in St. Joseph's Church. The rector, Rev. Charles E. Park, will officiate. Interment in the parish cemetery.
