Eleanor M. Weaver, 82, Springfield, formerly of Elgin, died Fri, Jan. 23, 2004. She was born May 25, 1921, in Hebron, to Arthur G. and Anna E. (Richter) Schacht. She was a member of St. John's Luthern Church, Elgin, IL. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge in DeKalb. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Loved by all, she was called Ma Weaver and will be dearly missed. Survivors include three sons, Gary (Donna) Weaver, PA, Larry Weaver, South Elgin, and Ricky (Brenda)Weaver, Elgin; two daughters, Patty Weaver, Springfield, and Darlene (Jim) Heckwine, Mechanicsburg; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lavern Cyrus (Curley) Weaver; a daughter, Marlene Wallace; and two brothers, Harold Schacht and Donald Schacht. Services were held Jan. 28 and 29 at Vancil Memorial Chapel, Springfield. The funeral was held Jan. 29 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Greenwood, IL
