Lottie was the youngest child of William Pitt Button and Antoinette (Williams) Button. She married Franklin Stiles on 31 Dec 1890 at her parents' residence in Haynersville, New York. Frank and Lottie three daughters; Bernice, Edna and Ruth. Bernice and Ruth each died in infancy and Edna 'Jean' was the only one who made it to adulthood. Lottie died at the age of 35 due to tuberculosis.
