Eastman, GA- MR. JAMES FRANKLIN LOYD, SR., age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, December 16, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Peele officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.
Mr. Loyd was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a member of Eastman First Baptist Church, former General Manager of Dodge County Motor Company and a retired Owner & Operator of Loyd's Chrysler, Dodge & Jeep Inc. He was the son of the late Stella Rebecca Jones Loyd & Jack Loyd and was preceded in death by a Sister - Louise L. Pinnell.
