Born September 15, 1939 in the Township of Westboro, WI. Died March 6, 2011 at at Golden Living Center, Rib Lake where he had resided for the past 3 weeks most recently under the care of Hope Hospice. Internment (cremation) is at the Flora Cemetery, Slabtown, WI.
Attended Cedar Lake, IN elementary schools and was a graduate of Crown Point, IN High School. After graduating he served in the US Army for a period of time. After the service he moved to Cedar Lake, IN where he worked with his father's tree trimming business. Then he moved to Stoughton, WI and later Lancaster, WI where he worked at John Deere Co. for 10 years. Then they moved to Medford in 1987 and he worked at Biewer Saw Mill in Prentice until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening & dancing.
Married January 4, 1973, Lancaster, WI to Sharon R. Bishop Edgington.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: a daughter of Antioch, TN; 4 sons all of Medford, WI, and 1 step-son of Madison, WI. He is also survived by his 4 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 sister-in-laws, 1 brother-in-law, his Mother-In-Law of Lancaster, WI and 8 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oren Edward Bishop, and Frieda Margaret Neubauser and his brother Edward Bishop who died in infancy.
