In Remembrance of Drucilla Adams Cooper
On June 2, 1931, God in His Wisdom visited the home of Mr. Bruce Cooper and took from them their precious mother to the home of peace and happiness, with Jesus forevermore. As the sun was setting all the world seemed to be in bloom. The Heavenly Father saw fit to send an angel of death to Mr. Cooper's home and carried away his best friend, his mother, Mrs. Drucilla Cooper. Measles followed by pneumonia was the cause of her death.
On June 2, after the funeral service, conducted by Rev. W.T. Coleman in the presence of a great number of friends and relatives, her precious form was laid to rest in the Cooper cemetery.
Mrs. Cooper was 63 years of age. Her children are Mrs. J.F. Agerton, Lyons, Ga.; Mrs. W.J. Milling, Midville, Ga.; Mrs. Rannie Hardeman, Mt. Vernon, Ga.; Mr. Bruce Cooper, Mt. Vernon, Ga.; Mrs. Minnie Spivey, Mt. Vernon, Ga.; also 17 grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. I.M. Cooper, Mrs. M.L. Nabb, Mrs. A.D. Conway, Mrs. G.W. O'Conner, Mrs. M.H. Smith; also two brothers, G.W. Adams and N.A. Adams.
