She was born May 13, 1941 in Batesville, Indiana to Arthur and Frances (Dugan) Bischoff.She married Jerry R. Dunbar on September 23, 1967. They were married for 43 years.She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Sunman, Indiana, was part of The Literary Guild Book Club, and was a 27 year participant of the Ripley County 4-H were she was presently active as a Rabbit Leader and had been a past member of the Fair Board. She was a teachers aid in the St. Leon School System, where she'd worked for 8 years. Prior to that she had worked as a gym teacher and a teachers aid at St. Nicholas school for 23 years.Survivors include her Husband, Jerry R. Dunbar of Sunman , Indiana; Brother and Sister-in-law, Howard and Patti Bischoff of Brookville, Indiana; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Melvin and Betty Dunbar of Sunman, Indiana; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Wayne and Lajoe Dunbar of Sunman, Indiana; Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law, Judy and Jeff Ellis of New Trenton, Indiana; Nieces and Nephews, Linda Ebrens, Kim Nurhing, Justin Bischoff, Sarah Bischoff, Bradley Bischoff, Brandon Bishcoff, Michael Dunbar, Melanie Dunbar, Bethany Dunbar, Nicholas Dunbar, Robbie Dunbar, Matt Dunbar, and Amanda Dunbar; Great Niece and Nephew, Wendy Bischoff and Eric Ebrens; and many Dear Friends.In addition to her Parents she was preceded in death by her Son, Ronald "Ronnie" Dunbar who died July 16, 1986; and Brother and Sister-in-law, Harold and Betty Bischoff.Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Cook Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman, Indiana, 47041. A Rosary Service will be held just prior to the visitation and beginning at 3:30 PM at the Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Church, 6461 E. St. Nicholas Dr., Sunman, Indiana, 47041. Rev. Greg Bramlage, Pastor of St. Nicholas Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery.Memorial donations may be directed to the Ripley County 4-H Corporation Scholarship Endowement, to St. Nicholas School Fund, or for Masses.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
