Alice Ollivine Wilder was born near Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, April 4, 1872. She came to this country with her parents at the age of seven months. She resided here until the year of 1889 when she was united in marriage to Stephen A. Wilder and most of the time since has lived in and near Ayr, until Nov. 7, 1910, when she moved to her new home at Ohio, Missouri.
She had lived there but a short time when she was taken away, Dec. 11, 1910. She was 38 years, 8 months, 7 days. There was born to this union three daughters and two sons, Bessie Mae, Ethel Naioma, Emma Faye, Byron S. and Jay Edward.
Besides her husband and children she leaves a father and mother, three sisters and three brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Press Allender, Ayr, Neb.; Mrs. Lettie Wilders, Ayr, Nebr.; Mrs. Belle Mitchell, Willows, Calif.; Mrs. Lottie Williams, Quinn, S.D.; Mr. Frank Allender, Laird, Colorado; Mr. Roy Allender, Ayr, Neb., and Mr. Ed Allender, Ayr, Neb.
She was united with the M.E. church at Ayr two years ago and always lead a good christian life. She was a kind and loving wife and mother. Besides her family she leaves a host of friend to mourn her loss.

Died at her home near Ohio, Missouri, December 11, 1910, Mrs. Ollie Wilder, wife of Stephen Wilder, in her thirty-eighth year from septicemia. Mrs. Wilder was born in Henry county, Iowa, in 1872 and came to Adams county when a child with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Pressly Allender, who settled on their homestead one mile east of Ayr. The writer knew the deceased personally, found her in the school room a noble girl and in after years a loyal wife and mother, alw (this part illegible) thought, charitable in speech toward all with malice toward none. She fulfilled her woman's mission in life as daughter, wife and mother and has now passed on to reap her reward in the better life, leaving a husband, three daughters, two sons, father, mother and a wide scope of warm friends to mourn her loss.
