GALION - Margaret E. Campbell, 86, formerly of 315 Westgate Road, died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Magnolia Terrace.

Born June 18, 1918, in Crestline, she was the daughter of the late Adam Hoffman and Amanda Reddick Hoffman. She was preceded in death on Oct. 11, 1994 by her husband, Paul E. Campbell, whom she married on Dec. 8, 1938.

She was a graduate of Crestline High School and went to Beauty Shoppe in Galion for many years.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Peace Lutheran Church Women, Galion Community Hospital Auxiliary TWIG 7 and Galion Country Club.

She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to several card clubs. She also enjoyed playing golf, volunteering and outdoor activities. She also enjoyed the Cleveland Indians and both high school and Ohio State University sports.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Ruth Ann Campbell of Galion; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Victor Trapp of Ravenna; four grandchildren and spouses, Tim and Penny Campbell, Chris and Stacy Campbell, Troy Studly and Tyler Studly; two step grandchildren, Laura Zajec and Gina Trapp; six great-grandchildren, Caity, Logan, Colton, Brooklynn, Aliya and Kalyn; six step great-grandchildren and a sister, Mable Hipp of Crestline.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd Studly.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 24, 2005 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 25, at Peace Lutheran Church, 129 W. Walnut St., Galion 44833 or HomeCare Matters Hospice, P.O. Box 327, Galion 44833.
