She was born on April 14, 1926 in Crawford Co. to Herbert and Una(Corpian) Turner. She was married July 11, 1945, at the chapel in Key West, FL., to John Guernsey, where he was stationed in the Navy.
Ruth worked for her father, Herb H. Turner and Son's for years as a secretary, until purchasing the Sportsman's Bar in Eastman, WI. After 10 years in the Bar business Ruth went to work for Sanitary Creamery in Boscobel for many years where she retired. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and Blake-Semrad American Legion Post Auxiliary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Auer officiating. Burial will be at the Boscobel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beeman-Patchak Funeral Home in Boscobel where there will be a Rosary Service at 7:30 PM.
