Eva Hair Adair has finished her courageous, undaunted life. Our dedicated, much-loved mother and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on Dec. 7, 2012.

Eva was born to Thomas Mulholland Hair and Dora McDonald on Aug. 27, 1917, in Keetley, Summit, Utah. She was the second of two children and was preceded in death by her brother Lavon Hair and her husband Claud Lee Adair. Eva, best known as Eve, married Claud on Feb. 1, 1939. Claud and Eva were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple Feb. 13, 1957. Three daughters were born of their union. DeAnna Hansen, wife of Gary S. Hansen, Georgialee Smith and Shirlene Green wife of Johnny Van Green. Eva and Claud have 11 beautiful grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Eva was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life. She loved Primary and was the chorister for 14 years. She also led the music in Relief Society. She enjoyed her calling as a cultural refinement teacher. She served as a Cub Scout leader, the ward and stake drama director, and a stake missionary. Eva was an Avon representative for much of her life and worked in the classified ads department of Desert News. She attended Cosmetology classes and received a license to operate a beauty parlor, which she did for 15 years. At 75, she went to college with her dear granddaughter Tina Louise Smith. She took classes in art and enjoyed painting during the last years of her life. As Eva's abilities dwindled Tina Louise cared for her and also her own mother Georgialee. It was only after being removed to Rocky Mountain Care Center that Eva heeded the call to come home, having completed a full life of 95 years, 3 months, and ten days. She will be missed by her marvelous, lifetime of friends and her sweet family.

Please join us for a celebration of her life. Services will be held Friday, Dec. 14, at 12 noon, at the Midway Ward located at 200 South 250 East. There will be a viewing that morning from 11 a.m.-11:45 a.m. Interment at Midway City Cemetery.
