He was born May 27, 1957, in Tulsa, Okla., to Carl and Signa Stinson LaRue. He was an avid hunter and member of Coon Hunters Association in Henderson. He was an avid arrowhead hunter and collector.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother of Robards; one son, Michael David LaRue of Baskett, Ky.; one daughter, Kara Michelle Snellen of Spotsville, Ky.; two brothers, Steve LaRue of Baskett and Benjie LaRue of Henderson; three sisters, Cindy Gogel of Robards, Beverly Tucker of Henderson and Serena Hyatt of Sebree, Ky.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tompkins Funeral Home in Sebree with the Rev. Eddie Berry officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, Ky.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Gogel, Steven LaRue, James Darrell Stinson, Brian Tucker, Benjamin LaRue and Gary Shoulders.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
