Ms. Cathy Lee Shelton, age 58, of Westfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born on April 2, 1954 in Stokes County to the late Dan Hubert and Mary Mageline East Shelton. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Shelton is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, David and Darlene Shelton of Westfield; one nephew, Brandon (Angel) Shelton of King; special cousin, Nelda Phillips of Pilot Mountain; great niece and great nephew, Emily and Katelyn Shelton, and Elijah Shelton. Ms. Shelton was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Georgie Shelton; and one nephew, Joshua David Shelton. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Cox-Needham Chapel with Elder Rodney Marshall, Elder Scotty Marshall and Bro. Doug Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Brown Mountain Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012 from 6-8 PM at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
