Mrs. Dorothy E. (Stout) Lightcap, 73, of Kunkletown R.3, died Tuesday in Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Joseph Lightcap.
She was an artist whose paintings were shown in many exhibits. One of them was included in a 1988 calendar published by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C. Lightcap also worked for The Express newspaper, Easton, 1941-53.
Survivors: Husband; daughters, Elizabeth Dimmick of Easton, Margaret Ward of Mount Laurel, N.J., Rosemary Veach of Zwingle, Iowa, and Dawn Lightcap of Effort; sons, William Horn of Ocean Side, Calif., Joseph Jr., at home, and James of Brodheadsville; sister, Daisy Johnson of Boca Raton, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
