Jesse was the son of Leslie Jacobs and Rita (Jones) Herrmann. He was struck by a car as he was walking home from a friends house on the evening of November 6th, 2004. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Leslie and June Jacobs of Bloomington; his mother and stepfather, Rita and Werner Herrmann of Tarpon Springs, FLA.; one daughter, Alexandra Jacobs; one brother, Aaron Jacobs; one sister, Rebecca Jacobs; grandparents, Marvin and Ingred Jones and Leo Jacobs. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma (Axsom) Jacobs.
