Daniel Rose CURNS was born on 26 Oct 1829 in Lycoming County, PA. He died on 10 Apr 1882. Daniel and Rebecca lived in Dunnstable in the 1860, Woodward in 1870 and Lock Haven in 1880 Censuses. Daniel made a living as a laborer.

Daniel served during Civil War in Company C, Pennsylvania 207th Infantry Regiment. He enlisted on 9 May 1864, mustered in on 5 Sep 1864.

Daniel is buried in Dunnstown Cemetery.

Daniel Rose CURNS and Rebecca GERHART were married in Dec 1855. Rebecca GERHART was born about 1828 in Clinton County, PA. Daniel Rose CURNS and Rebecca GERHART had the following children:

3.) Jessie Jenette CURNS, born 6 Apr 1860, Clinton Co., PA; married Harry C. SMITH, in 1886; died in 16 Dec 1919, Lock Haven, Clinton, PA.
4.) Torrence M. CURNS, born 14 May 1862, Pennsylvania; married Cora M., in 1889; died on 12 Nov 1910, Heidleburg, Berks, PA.
5.) George C. CURNS, born 13 Jun 1864, Lock Haven, Clinton, PA; married Christina WURSTER, on 2 Apr 1893; died on 3 Mar 1941, Lock Haven, Clinton, PA.
6.) Catharine C. "Katie" CURNS was born in 20 Jun 1870 in Pennsylvania and died 21 Feb 1925.
