Jeffrey Alan Wyatt, age 54, of Gainesville, passed away April 19, 2011 at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was born August 28, 1956, in Honolulu, Hawaii in Tripler Army-Navy Hospital to Everett and Ruth Roberts Wyatt and in 1958 they moved to Gainesville. He was a member of University City Church of Christ. Jeff was very active in Special Olympics and participated in bowling, golf and track and field and when participating at an international competition, he met the Kennedy family. He graduated from Sidney-Lanier School. Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Ruth Wyatt; brothers, Randall E. Wyatt (Susan) of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Donald L. Wyatt (Jani) of Brisben, Australia; nieces and nephews, Carrie (Rob), Colin, Matthew (Angela), Benjamin (Trish) and Jessica; great nieces and nephews, Emma, Adam, Liv and Amelia; Uncle Charles and Aunt Sylvia Roberts; also, Aunts Karlene Lovell and Eleanor Cass; many cousins and very dear friend, Therese Jerrell. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Wyatt. Graveside Services were held on April 28, 2011 at Memorial Park East with Rich Howell, Harold Bowman, Lendon Suggs and Laurie Philpot officiating.
