Quilla Rose Spillars lived one month shy of 98 years. She was my grandmother who I loved spending time with. She liked working in her yard and cooking. She made the best chocolate cream pies and her recipe is still used today. I remember having Sunday dinner at her house each week and my job was getting the silverware out of the buffet and setting the table. I have that buffet in my dining room now to remind me of those great dinners. I was lucky enough to live next door to her after I turned 8 years old.
My grandmother, aka Nanny, had 2 sons, Grover and Douglas, and 2 daughters, Billie and Jackie. She had 5 grandchildren, Douglas Jr, Joni, Steve, Brad and RoseAnn. She had 7 great grandchildren Christi, Courtney, Stacy, Julie, Melissa, Jamie, snd Scott.
