She was a graduate of Peru High School and was an assistant manager at Papa John's Pizza in Peru and a motor route carrier of the Peru Tribune. She attended First Assembly of God in Peru and Amboy Friends Church. She was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and doll collector.
Survivors include her husband, Rolla G. Trent, Converse; mother, Iva James, Peru; son, Bradley Fleming, Peru; stepdaughters, Janis (Kelvin) Cornett, Julia (Scott) Rogers and Emilie Trent, all of Converse, and Lori (Ryan) Davis, Amboy; brother, Kenneth (Arlene) James, Wenatchee, Wash.; sister, Arlene (Mike) Breeden, Monmouth, Ore.; and stepgrandchildren, Bryan Zirkle, Robyn Cornett and Victoria Davis.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Marie Rarick.
