VELEZ, Luis Jr. 34, of Tampa, passed away Dec. 10, 2012. He is survived by his loving parents, Luis Sr. and Norma Velez; girlfriend, Lisa Gomez; children, Emilo Vin Velez Gomez, Mia Gomez and Alex Gomez; brother, Steven Velez; grandmother, Esperanza Viera; aunts, Lillian Gonzalez and Miriam Fuentes; uncles, Albert Hernandez (Theresa), David Hernandez (Beatrice) and Hector Hernandez (Mirna); nieces, Julissa Marie Velez and Alycia Iris Velez; and many many cousins. Luis loved spending time with his children, he was a little league football coach for I-9 Sports. He was an excellent father, son, brother, uncle and worker. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm, Thursday, today Dec. 13, 2012 at Brandon Cremation and Funeral Services, 621 N. Parsons Avenue, Brandon. A graveside service will be held at Limona Cemetery, Lakewood Drive, 10 am on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012.
