Martha Y. Burrell, 82, of Hastings, died Aug. 25, 2005, at Indigo Manor in Daytona Beach after an extended illness. She was a native of East Palatka and a lifelong resident of Putnam and St. Johns counties. She was a member of Christ Independent Methodist Church in Palatka where she played the organ. She also played organ for more than 50 years at Christ United Methodist Church in Hastings, and worked as bookkeeper for 15 years with the Hastings Potato Growers Association.
