Pearl Campbell, 95, of Franklin, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012.

Born in Macon County, she was the daughter of the late James Ellis Buchanan and Maude Welch Buchanan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Campbell; son, Franklin Delano Campbell; two brothers, Kenneth and Max and great-great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Ericsson. Pearl was a member of Iotla Baptist Church.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Glenda Carpenter and Gayle Paar, both of Franklin; two sisters, Thelma Morrison Smith and Anna Mae Brabson, both of Franklin; three brothers, Wade Buchanan of Fort Mills, SC, Branch Buchanan and Raleigh Buchanan, both of Franklin; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service was held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 16, at Iotla Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Reeves and Rev. Stacy Wood officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m., Sunday, April 15, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Matthew Bateman, Eddie Bateman, Jerry Brabson, Nathan Brabson, James Brabson, Eddie Evans, Larry Buchanan and Roger Brabson.
