She was born Sept. 3, 1967, in Wooster, to John and Shirley Johnson and had been a Wooster resident all of her life. She graduated from Northwestern High School in 1986 and married the love of her life, Garald "Mouse" Wise on Aug. 14, 2010, in Wooster. He survives.

She had worked at Buehler's restaurant and Kidz Park for 27 years and was a member of Wooster Church of The Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially motorcycle riding with her husband.

Wendy was known as a beautiful person both inside and out, especially as a dedicated caregiver to all the many children she came into contact with throughout the years at Wooster Church of the Nazarene, as well as at Buehler's Kidz Park. She was always smiling and it was amazing to see how many kids said "hi" or gave hugs to her whenever they saw her.

Surviving in addition to her loving parents and husband, are a brother, Michael Johnson of Savannah, and a sister, Jody Jackson of West Salem; nieces, Amanda, Allison and Taylor Jackson of West Salem, Brooke, Chloee and Brenna Johnson of Savannah; nephews, Jordan of West Salem, Corbyn of Savannah; maternal grandparents, Norman and Joyce Treece of Wooster; father- and mother-in-law, George (Shirley Ann) Wise of Wooster; a stepson, Kevin Wise of Wooster; a brother-in-law, Dennis (Sue) Wise of Creston; and sisters- in-law, Beth Ann (Tim) Zimmerman and Sherrill (Scott) Snyder, both of Wooster; nieces, Tabitha (Shane) Burchett of Shreve, Amanda (Andy) Hartman, Sheila Snyder and Jessica Zimmerman, all of Wooster and Lauren Wise of Creston; nephews, Andrew and Taylor Wise, both of Creston, Ben Zimmerman, Seth Snyder and Shawn Dellafave, all of Wooster; great-nieces, Brielle Burchett of Shreve and Tori Hartman of Wooster; a great-nephew, Liam Dellafave of Wooster; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her faithful canine companions, Bink, Pippi and Haus.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Arlene Johnson; and paternal uncle, Louis Johnson.
