Thomas Z. Rhea Sr., of 1261 Fifth Street in San Bernardino, a native of Sylvia, North Carolina, died Thursday night at his home at the age of 86. He was survived by his three sons, Paul Rhea of Bakersfield, Thomas Z. Thea, Jr., of San Bernardino and Hal W. Rhea of Fontana, six daughters, Mrs. A. K. Smith of Kirby, Oregon, Mrs. Gertie Buzbee of Loma Linda, Mrs. Inez Lillard of Riverside, Mrs. Gladys Odom of Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. Una Greene of Medford, Oregon and Mrs. Geneva Millick of San Bernardino, 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Kremer Funeral Chapel with interment at Montecito Memorial Park Cemetery.
