ODESSA-- Billy Joe Ashabranner, age 74, of Odessa passed away Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, in Odessa. He was born April 30, 1928 in Ada, Okla. to Jim & Annie Jordan. He married Fannie Daniels on Sept. 2, 1976 in Odessa.
He moved to Odessa in 1955 from Ada. He was a unit operator in the oilfield.
Mr. Ashabranner is survived by his wife, Fannie Ashabranner of Odessa, his brothers William and Johnny Wall, his sisters, Betty Allen, Susie James and Patricia Odom and several nephews and nieces, all of Ada.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Clark.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2002, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
