Barbara Ellen Arbogast, wife of the late S.B. Arbogast, died at her Earlyville, Va., home on September 27, 1936, aged 81 years, and 11 days.

She had been an invalid for several years and was a patient and resigned through all her suffering.

Fourteen children and sixteen grandchildren survive. Interment was held in the family plot at Riverview Cemetery, Charlottesville, Va., on September 29. Services were conducted by the Rev. H.A. Porter, assisted by the Rev. Sidney S. Coats.

Mrs. Arbogast was born and reared on the North Fork in Pendleton County, West Va., and left there fifty four years ago, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Harper and Catherine McClure Harper and granddaughter of Leonard Sr. and Phoebe Catherine Hinkle Harper, therefore has many friends and relatives.
