THE WARRENSBURG NEWS, OCTOBER 20, 1949:
Mrs. Emma M. Burke, formerly of Glens Falls, died at 7:15 am Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. David Lawlor, 220 Euclid Avenue, Albany. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Marianne Cronin and Robert Cronin of Albany.

The body was brought to the James F. Singleton Funeral Home in Glens Falls where funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Charles E. Kennedy, rector of the Church of the Messiah, Glens Fall's, officiated. Burial was in St. Cecilia's, Cemetery, Warrensburg.
