A native of Tropic, Fla., he had lived in San Mateo and Palatka for most of his life. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. He was a volunteer fireman for the city of Palatka for 16 years. He owned and operated Leon Bradshaw Electrical Contracting for 31 years and had wired many public buildings, businesses and residences.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Catherine C. Bradshaw of San Mateo; foster children, William Burnice and Elizabeth Joyner of Palatka; and one granddaughter.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at West View Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating.
