The funeral was conducted by Rev. J. M. Casebler at the Sacramento Baptist church and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Sacramento.
She was loved by the whole community, and was always cheerful, charitable and loving, a true and devoted wife and a faithful Christian. Her death was an exemplification of the text: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, for their works do follow them."
