Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Mark's Episcopal church, St. Albans, for Pfc. Archie H. Shelton, 28, of the Marine Corps, who was killed July 25, 1945, in a bombing raid on a Japanese Prison camp at Tokoyo. Rev. William Bowie, assisted by Rev. A. P. Wallace, will officiate and interment will be in Cunningham Memorial park, St. Albans. The West Virginia Military District will conduct military rites at the graveside. The body will arrive today at Bartlett mortuary in St. Albans. Pfc. Shelton was attached to the 4th Marine Div., of the Manila bay area, and was a prisoner of war of the Japanese when he was killed. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Shelton, 807 Highland Ter., St. Albans; a brother, Edward R. Shelton, jr., Texas City, Tex., and a sister, Mrs. James M. Poindexter, Charleston.
