Ray Vaughn Harrison was born on October 1, 1916 in Winona, MO the son of Henry Newton Harrison, Jr. and Imogene (Halbert) Harrison. He passed away December 10, 2012 at Birch Tree Place in Birch Tree, MO at the age of 96 years.
He was united in marriage to Mildred Mae Price in 1944 at Hardy, AR and to this union five children were born Eugene, Chester, Mary Lou, Betty Kay and Lois Jane.
Ray Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Imogene Harrison; his wife Mildred Mae Harrison; one sister Lelah Holden; two brothers Clark Harrison and Earl Henry Harrison; and one son in law Don Murr.
He is survived by two sons Eugene "Gene" Harrison and wife Yvonne and Chester Harrison and wife Eva; three daughters Mary Lou Shaw and husband Vernon, Betty Kay Murr, Lois Jane Zvibleman and husband Kevin; two sisters Luella Willig and Violet Faye Harrison; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Ray Vaughn will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 12:00pm - 1:00pm at the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Eminence, MO. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Emiennce, MO. Interment will be in Flatwood Cemetery in Eminence, MO under the direction of Duncan Funeral Homes.
